At maakeenbeer, we believe that making your own teddy bear should be a magical experience. We strive to present all our products as accurately and clearly as possible so that you know what to expect, and we aim to make every aspect of your experience with us unforgettable. However, it may sometimes happen that your new cuddly friend is not exactly what you expected. Even then, we want to ensure that you are satisfied.

Returns within 14 days

If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can exercise your right of withdrawal. You can return your product within 14 days of receiving your package. We offer a full refund, including the shipping costs to get the package to you.

How do you return your product?

  1. Contact us: Let us know that you want to return your product. You can reach us viainfo@maakeenbeer.be. 
  2. Pack your product: Return your package in the original packaging. Make sure that the plush toy and all accessories are carefully repackaged so that they come back to us safely.
  3. Ship your product: Send your return package back. We will provide you with the return address via email after you have contacted us. The costs for returning your package are at your own expense.
  4. Receive your refund: Once we have received and checked your return, we will process your refund within 10 working days.

Exceptions

There are a number of exceptions for returning a package. Your right of withdrawal does not apply when:

  • Your product was made to your specifications (for example: personalized clothing, custom-made stuffed animals)
  • Vacuum packaging of, for example, filling has already been opened
  • Items are soiled, damaged, or incomplete
  • Different filling was used than what was provided by maakeenbeer. In the above cases, products cannot be returned.

Damaged or incorrect products

Did you receive an incorrect product or was your product damaged during shipping? Please contact us as soon as possible. We will reimburse the shipping costs for the return and ensure a quick solution, such as a replacement product or a full refund.
